Combination skin. What should be the care?
  • The T zone (forehead, nose and chin) is oily, while the skin on the cheeks is normal
  • Pores may be slightly enlarged Prone to clogged pores and blackheads
  • If combination skin gets too dry, it starts to become even more oily in the T zone and dry and flake on the cheeks or around the mouth
  • After aggressive cleansers or alcohol, the skin may be a little tight (then you need to change care)
  • What should be the care of combination skin?
  • Use gentle facial products (gels, cream-gels, foams) that do not squeak clean, do not leave the effect of tightness and do not overdry the skin.
  • Aggressive products in combination skin care will irritate dry skin on the cheeks while stimulating the oily T-zone to produce more oil.
  • Wash your face with water at room temperature.

Light moisturizing creams are suitable for combination skin.

If dry areas are pronounced, then use the following scheme: apply a light cream (gel / fluid) to the entire surface of the face, and additionally apply a dense nourishing fatter cream to areas with dry skin.
You can also use moisturizers masks 1-2 times a week.

Micellar water, hydrophilic oil (but it can clog pores).

Washing (morning and evening)
Light gel or foam, good with neutral ph.

Tonic
(morning, evening, after washing)
Tonic should be alcohol-free, but may contain a minimum content of salicylic acid (if there is acne) or AHA amine- acids.

Creams
(after cleansing and toning)

  • Moisturizer - morning and evening;
  • A cream for the eye area, if you need morning and evening. Sun cream before going out;
  • If the T-zone is oily, but there are dry areas, you can apply two different creams - a light in the form of a gel or fluid on the T-zone and a nourishing one on dry areas.

Serum every day morning and or evening but take breaks):

Cleansing masks (1 time per week):

  • with clay, film masks, warming and others.
  • After - moisturizer.

Moisturizing masks (1-2 times a week)

You can use the multi-masking system: apply cleansing on the oily area, and moisturizing on the dry area.

  • Peeling once a week instead of a scrub.
  • Acne cream, if necessary - in the evening, pointwise.

Avoid

  • Cosmetics containing alcohol;
  • Scrubs;
  • Oils (clog pores);
  • Soap.

Desirable ingredients for combination skin products

  • hyaluronic, fruit, glycolic, salicylic, lactic acids;
  • glycerin;
  • antioxidants (vitamins E and C);
  • zinc and clay (for oily skin);
  • panthenol;
  • retinol;
  • aloe vera;
  • green tea extract, chamomile, marigold, jasmine, ginseng, lemon, rose;
  • tea tree oil.
